The Mohawk College Alumni Association is proud to be hosting the 2008 Ontario Alumni Association Conference, on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th. The annual conference is attended by dedicated volunteers of Alumni Associations and Alumni Relations staff from colleges and universities all over Ontario! This year the conference will offer great opportunities for professional development, networking and social activities.

This year's conference theme is "Building Bridges by the Bay". The main focus is to develop and continually build long term relationships with your Alumni membership, as well as connecting with fellow Alumni Association volunteers. These relationships can result in networking, friend-raising, support for your institution and other positive opportunities, for both the alumnus and the Alumni Association. We want Alumni to feel that there is a benefit to keeping in contact with their alum after graduation and recognize that relationships that are built while in school, can last a lifetime.

Hamilton is a city full of excitement and diversity and has become the centre of a densely populated and industrialized region at the west end of Lake Ontario known as the 'Golden Horseshoe'. Hamilton is home to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Canadian Football Hall of Fame and our very own Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger Cats.
